Hardware / Software Requirements for "ShareMixer"

• A Linux server or a BSD server:
  Tested distributions are: Fedora Core, CentOS, Ubuntu Server and Debian (for Linux) and FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD. You may use a dedicated server or standard (shared) hosting, as long as it supports the requirements mentioned in this page (this kind of shared hosting is generally referred to as "FFMpeg hosting"). Most of the following requirements are standard in a default "LAMP" (Linux Apache Mysql PHP) server:
  
• Apache http server:
  Tested are all 1.3.x and 2.x versions. "Mod_rewrite" has to be installed and working on your Apache server (for SEO links to work).
  
• MySQL server:
  Required is a version version 4.1.x or higher (also supporting MySQL 4.0.x, but with fall-back on unicode support and security enhancements). Tested compatible MySQL versions are up to 5.1.22-rc.
  
• PHP scripting engine:
  Supported are all PHP versions 4.4.3 or higher and all PHP 5 versions (tested versions are up to 5.2.6).
• PHP configuration:
  --> PHP configured with Apache's "mod_php" (PHP used as a 'dso' module). Also supporting PHP environments using PHP with "suexec" or with "SUPHP". "The software DOES NOT WORK on servers using PHP configured with "CGI", "Fast-CGI" or "FCGid".

Although "ShareMixer" itself is an innovative product, our innovative thinking did not stop on the application itself!  We decided to offer "ShareMixer" on a monthly-license, software-as-a-service-style basis, additionally to the usual "one time" licensing method.  We believe this to be the most beneficial route to follow, as the best pricing model for our customers.  Here's why:

    • A monthly pricing model lowers barriers to entry-level customers. In other words, by spreading what would normally be a much higher fixed cost over a number of months, our customers can more easily start using "ShareMixer", without having to justify substantial up-front investments.

    • A monthly pricing model lowers risk. A corollary to the above point is that with a monthly pricing system, there is very minimal risk involved in using "ShareMixer" -- if you don't like the application (although we think such is impossible!) you can just not renew your license!

• 100$, one-time fee, special offer for "Cl!pShare Pro 2.6/2.7" or "Cl!pShare Pro 3.0.1" current owners: Including lifetime free and unlimited support at the Help Desk and detailed script "migration" instructions from "Cl!pShare" to "ShareMixer XT 1.1.8.0".
      + This package also includes updates/upgrades for the software, up to one (2) years from the purchase date
         of the software license.
• 199$, one-time fee, including lifetime free and unlimited support at the Help Desk.
      + This package also includes updates/upgrades for the software, up to one (1) year from the purchase date of
          the software license.
• 299$, one-time fee, including lifetime free and unlimited support at the Help Desk.
      + This package also includes updates/upgrades for the software, up to one (2) years from the purchase date
         of the software license.
• 499$, one-time fee, including lifetime free and unlimited support at the Help Desk and lifetime free updates/upgrades for the software.

Monthly Subscription Package, for use on one domain and for one copy of the software:

• 39$, monthly fee, including lifetime free and unlimited support/tickets at the Help Desk and lifetime free updates/upgrades for the software (for as long as the user is paying the monthly fee).

Hosting & Domain Registration:

• 9$/year for domain registration (currently supporting .com, .net and .org domain names).
• Shared hosting plans starting for as low as 79$/month (for more details, please visit the clients portal order page). All shared hosting plans include the license for "ShareMixer", for as long as you use this service. The license if valid ONLY for as long as you use this service (if you decide to move your domain and your "ShareMixer" web-site to another server, you will need to buy a separate license, either one-time or monthly).  These shared hosting plans offer only QUALITY shared hosting services (only a few sites on each server only, depending on the load of the server).  Also included in this package are:
      - The "Server Installation" and "Server Setup" services.
      - Lifetime free and unlimited support/tickets at the Help Desk.
• Dedicated server plans starting for as low as 119$/month (for more details, please visit the clients portal order page). Dedicated server plans include the license for "ShareMixer", for as long as you lease the server. You will NOT have to buy a software license separately, if you decide to lease a dedicated server. The license if valid ONLY for as long as you lease the dedicated server (if you decide to move your domain and your "ShareMixer" web-site to your own server, you will need to buy a separate license, either one-time or monthly). Also included in this package are:
      - The "Server Installation" and "Server Setup" services.
      - Lifetime free and unlimited support/tickets at the Help Desk.

Additional / Extended Services:

• Flash Video Player re-branding / customization:
  - We can put your own logo on top-left, bottom left, top-right or bottom-right of the Flash Video Player, for as low as 50$, one-time fee.
  - We can also fully customize your Flash Video Player (completely change its interface/skin -- even using a graphic you will provide us with!), for 100$, one time fee.
  - You can use BOTH the previous services combined, for as low as 130$, one-time fee!.
• Server Setup Service (setup of the required server modules, in order to use video conversion and related functions in "ShareMixer"): 40$, one time.
• Server Installation Service (installation of the software ONLY): 40$, one time.
• Emergency Support Service (if something goes wrong on your server or site): 25$/hour.
• Live Support (upon request): 25$/hour.
• Custom design and features (PHP/AJAX development, XHTML templating): Depends on the nature of the project; the client must send a quote for his project first, using the Contact Form. We reserve the right to accept or deny this quote, depending on the work involved and on the availability of our developers and designers.
